Wedding Photographer Portugal was created by Rui Pedro Esteves and Susana Barros, two passionate creatives driven by a shared vision of connecting couples from around the world with some of the most talented wedding photographers and filmmakers in Portugal. Combining Rui’s entrepreneurial spirit and artistic direction with Susana’s warm personality, creativity, and dedication to client experience, they built a project focused on authenticity, elegance, and meaningful storytelling.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had originally booked Rui through his tour company DWT Private Wine Tours so show us around the Douro Valley for the day. Luckily, it so happened that Rui is also a highly talented photographer which he combines seamlessly with excellent photos of our day in the Valley. I had also had prior communications with Rui regarding the photography element as I was planning to propose to my partner of 4.5 years and wanted to take her completely by surprise in a beautiful location and for the moment and day leading up to this moment to be captured so we have something to look back on in years to come. Rui was absolutely fantastic, firstly with his communications. The plan leading up to the proposal was super clear and my partner did not suspect a thing. He was open to catering to any type of plan or request and also would give alternate recommendations, which is great for me as he knows the area far better than I do. He even changed the viewpoint for the proposal because he wanted it to be perfect. Onto the photography - the photos are fantastic, he captured some great moments during the day and for the proposal I couldn’t have asked for this to be captured any better. He captured the emotions of the whole moment perfectly whilst keeping the quality of the photos high and capturing the breathtaking scenery that surrounded us. He was also super quick to review the photos and send them to us with a number of different options. Would highly recommend Rui for any special event.

He took us on a private, full-day wine tour of the Douro River Valley from Porto, and we had such a memorable day! We visited two lovely (but very different) wineries, had a delicious, traditional Portuguese lunch, and took a leisurely cruise on the river.
